This area focuses on the various educational options available through public, charter, and magnet schools. Unlike preschool and early elementary levels, the 6th-12th Grade approach focuses more heavily on students as their learning styles, specific skills, and desires are more established.
We start off with a comprehensive discussion with the parent and student, along with a review of all applicable academic and test records and a Student/Family Profile. We explore interests such as sports, extracurricular activities, and social environments. This will help to better understand your child’s and family’s values, priorities, and preferences, as well as strengths and needs.
We help students craft application essays, as well as prepare the student and parents for any interviews required by schools.
We guide you through each step of the application in order to produce a profile that best presents individual strengths and interests to the schools of your choice. Once applications are submitted and school notifications have been received, whether acceptance, denial, deferral, or wait list, we will continue to guide students to a final resolution.
